Global Medical Lead – Clinical Research & Development

About the role

Join Merz Therapeutics as a Global Medical Lead (Physician) and drive the scientific direction of our worldwide clinical development programs. You will work from our Frankfurt headquarters within a dynamic Global Clinical Science team, influencing strategic decisions and shaping the pipeline of innovative treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and launch global clinical development programs.
• Guide strategic company decisions from a medical and clinical perspective.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with international experts.
• Lead negotiations with Ethics Committees and Regulatory Authorities worldwide.
• Secure approvals for new therapies.
• Present findings at international conferences and author scientific publications.

Required profile

• Physician with minimum 3 years experience in clinical research and development, preferably in pharma.
• Proven ability to lead medical and scientific content on a global scale.
• Highly independent, capable of assuming global responsibility.
• Fluent English with excellent scientific writing skills.
• Innovative, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Commitment to high quality standards.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
