Global Medical Lead – Clinical Research & Development

About the role

Join Merz Therapeutics as a Global Medical Lead, driving the scientific direction of clinical development programs worldwide. Based in Frankfurt, you will work within a dynamic Global Clinical Science team, influencing strategic decisions and shaping the pipeline of innovative treatments.

Key responsibilities

• Define and oversee global clinical development programs from a medical perspective.
• Provide strategic guidance for company decisions based on clinical and medical insights.
• Build and maintain scientific partnerships with international experts.
• Lead negotiations with Ethics Committees and Regulatory Authorities across regions.
• Support regulatory approvals and present findings at international conferences.
• Contribute to scientific publications and disseminate results.

Required profile

• Physician with at least 3 years of experience in clinical research and development, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities, capable of managing global medical content.
• High degree of independence and responsibility for worldwide projects.
• Excellent English communication and scientific writing skills.
• Innovative, solution‑oriented mindset with high quality standards.
