Global Procurement Manager – Finished Products

About the role

As a Global Procurement Manager for Finished Products you will join Walter Tools’ international procurement team, supporting the sourcing of high‑performance metalworking components. You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders across Europe and beyond, developing the category portfolio from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with international suppliers and cross‑functional teams to source finished‑product components.
• Gradually assume ownership of specific procurement categories and manage the full sourcing lifecycle.
• Build and maintain a robust supplier network, negotiating contracts and terms.
• Analyse market trends, costs and technologies to drive cost‑effective decisions.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving global supply‑chain efficiency and reliability.

Required profile

• Degree in business, engineering or a related discipline.
• Initial experience in procurement, supply chain or a technical field.
• Strong interest in technical products and manufacturing processes.
• Curiosity for international environments and cultures.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Motivation to learn, take responsibility and contribute ideas.
