Group Accountant – Consolidations (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for a Group Accountant to support the preparation of our consolidated financial statements under IFRS and to provide accounting expertise across our international subsidiaries. The role is based in Berlin and operates in a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Review subsidiary financials to ensure consistent accounting and valuation.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide reliable accounting advice and serve as the main contact for accounting queries.
• Utilise LucaNet consolidation software for data collection and reporting.
• Support group‑wide standardisation and harmonisation projects for accounting processes.
• Assist in developing and implementing new group accounting procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in group accounting, financial reporting, consolidation, or auditing for an international company.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and corporate accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• Practical experience with LucaNet or similar consolidation tools.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
