Group Accountant – Consolidations & IFRS

About the role

As a Group Accountant you will support the preparation of consolidated financial statements in line with IFRS and produce ad‑hoc financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. You will act as a key contact for accounting‑related queries across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements according to IFRS.
• Analyse subsidiary financials to ensure uniform accounting and valuation.
• Produce ad‑hoc financial reports and perform financial analysis.
• Provide reliable accounting advice to internal and external parties.
• Utilise consolidation software (LucaNet) for data aggregation.
• Support group‑wide standardisation and harmonisation projects.
• Assist in developing and implementing new group accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, MBA or Industrial Engineering with a focus on accounting or finance.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in group accounting, reporting, consolidation or auditing for an international company.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge in IFRS.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Practical experience with LucaNet or similar consolidation tools.
• Fluent English (written and verbal); German is a plus.
