Guest Professor of Health Management

About the role

We are seeking a Guest Professor of Health Management to join our Business Faculty in Iserlohn on a full‑time or part‑time basis starting 01.06.2026. The role combines teaching, research, and university service, aiming to deliver future‑oriented education in public health and health management.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver introductory and advanced courses in at least three of the following areas: Principles of Public Health, HRM in the Health Sector, Health Economics and Finance, Health Promotion and Prevention, Health Statistics and Data Analysis.
• Plan and implement interdisciplinary research and development projects.
• Advise, supervise, and mentor students, including grading, seminars, projects, and bachelor/master theses.
• Establish industry collaborations and partnerships to expand the university’s network.
• Participate in university administration, committee work, and contribute to the design of new study programmes and curriculum development.
• Support outreach activities and advise prospective students.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field; doctorate and scientific publications are strong assets.
• Minimum three years of qualified professional experience, with at least two years outside academia.
• Proven teaching experience in Public Health Management, Health Economics/Finance, HRM, or Statistics.
• National and international work experience; ability to teach in English (German is a plus).
• Commitment to applied research, student engagement, and curriculum innovation.
