Hardware Engineer

About the role

STARK is seeking a Hardware Engineer to join its R&D‑driven Electronics Department in Munich. You will translate complex system requirements into high‑performance electronic hardware for advanced drone and aerospace platforms, driving projects from concept through mass production.

Key responsibilities

• Support system engineers during the concept design phase and review requirements from a system perspective.
• Design complex multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer, coordinating with mechanical and embedded software teams.
• Provide prototyping support, verify designs against test requirements, and assist in system‑level test campaigns.
• Maintain hardware throughout its lifecycle, including field support and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in hardware/electronic design, preferably in aerospace, defense, robotics or automotive.
• Proven ability to lead hardware development from concept to production with high flexibility.
