About the role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial Head of B2B Partnerships & Business Development to drive the next phase of growth for an innovative footwear technology company. The role will focus on expanding licensing agreements, OEM collaborations, and commercial partnerships across the safety, outdoor, and performance footwear markets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the full B2B sales cycle from prospecting to signed licensing and R&D agreements.
- Identify, approach, and secure strategic partnerships with footwear brands, OEMs, distributors, and other commercial stakeholders.
- Represent the company at trade fairs, commercial meetings, negotiations, and investor events.
- Work closely with the founder to shape commercial strategy, pricing, market positioning, and go‑to‑market initiatives.
- Contribute to scaling the business by building high‑performing cross‑functional teams.
- Drive growth initiatives and support the expansion of patented technologies into new markets.
Required profile
- Minimum 5 years of B2B commercial experience, preferably within footwear, sporting goods, manufacturing, or licensing.
- Proven track record of managing long sales cycles and closing strategic partnerships.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a fast‑growth, early‑stage environment.
- Strong networking, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Comfortable with equity‑based or reduced cash compensation models.
