Head of Business Continuity Manager (m/w/d)

About the role

As the Head of Business Continuity for Germany, you will lead the design, implementation and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) programme across the ADS Division. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure operational resilience, protect critical assets and uphold the organisation’s reputation through proactive risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Strategically design and establish a green‑field BCM programme in the assigned country, including Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) and continuity plans.
• Serve as the National BCM Risk Owner, integrating threat and vulnerability assessments into the Enterprise Risk Management framework.
• Achieve and maintain ISO 22301 certification, ensuring compliance with internal and international standards.
• Develop and deliver scenario‑based training and exercises for all staff levels.
• Manage external vendors and contractors supporting BCM deployment and operations.
• Provide tactical support during real incidents and conduct post‑incident reviews for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in Business Continuity or Risk Management, preferably within a regulated, security‑sensitive industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO 22301 standards and enterprise risk frameworks.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple business functions.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive organisational readiness.
