Head of Finance (CFO)

About the role

As the Finance & Controlling Lead for a global Business Unit, you will work closely with the BU Head and Group CFO to drive financial performance across a multi‑site manufacturing network. You will own the monthly close, planning cycles, and cost‑control systems while providing strategic input on investments, transfer pricing and M&A activities.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the BU Head and Group CFO to translate strategy into financial targets and actions.
• Own monthly closing, management reporting and variance analysis for the BU and its legal entities.
• Lead rolling forecasts, annual budgeting and 5‑year planning processes with clear assumptions.
• Establish standard costing, operations controlling models, KPIs and cost‑control methodologies.
• Govern CAPEX: build business cases, prioritize portfolio, track ROI and project benefits.
• Design and roll out transfer pricing in collaboration with tax and local finance teams.
• Harmonize and digitize accounting and controlling processes, tools and master data across the network.
• Lead finance aspects of M&A, including due diligence, deal support, risk controls and post‑merger integration.

Required profile

• 3+ years in BU/plant finance or controlling within multi‑site production environments.
• Proven operations controlling expertise (standard costing, product costing, margin/variance analysis).
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent English.
