Head of Finance

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven and strategically minded Head of Finance to join the German subsidiary of a leading international manufacturing group. Reporting directly to the Group CFO, you will lead finance operations and support the next phase of growth, performance and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all finance, accounting, reporting, and controlling activities
• Oversee monthly and year‑end closing and international financial reporting
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and cash‑flow management
• Support investment decisions and hedging strategies
• Deliver financial insights and performance reporting at executive level
• Optimise and standardise finance processes and controls
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
• Act as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field
• CPA, Chartered Accountant or Tax qualification
• Proven senior finance leadership experience within an international group environment
• Experience in the manufacturing industry
• Strong strategic, analytical and decision‑making capabilities
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent English
