Head of Operations

About the role

The successful candidate will lead end‑to‑end production operations at a high‑volume food manufacturing site in Germany, overseeing multiple shifts and driving operational excellence across a complex, multi‑line environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead all production activities at a high‑volume manufacturing site.
• Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), yield, waste reduction and labour productivity.
• Embed lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop a large operational workforce and frontline leadership team.

Required profile

• Significant production leadership experience in food or beverage manufacturing.
• Proven track record of operational improvement and performance transformation.
• Hands‑on, data‑driven leadership style with strong commercial awareness.
• Extensive experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing large, complex manufacturing teams.
