Head of SEO

About the role

We are a fast‑growing performance‑marketing company looking for an SEO Lead to own and scale the organic growth of our international affiliate portfolio. Based in Berlin with a hybrid work model, you will shape strategy, execute campaigns and drive commercial results across multiple content‑led websites.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the SEO strategy for a portfolio of high‑performing affiliate sites.
• Launch new affiliate properties from concept to live across several markets.
• Improve on‑page and off‑page SEO to boost rankings, traffic and revenue.
• Design and run backlink acquisition and link‑building programmes.
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis and market sizing to uncover new opportunities.
• Manage relationships with publishers, agencies and external partners.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of SEO Content Managers.
• Collaborate with Product, Content and Commercial teams to prioritise high‑impact initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO strategy in affiliate marketing, publishing or high‑growth digital businesses.
• Strong leadership record with experience managing and developing SEO teams.
• Native German speaker with fluent English.
• Commercial mindset with the ability to link SEO performance to traffic, conversions and revenue.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
