Head of Supply Chain & Purchasing

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing consumer‑goods company operating in personal care, wellness and food & beverage, is looking for a Head of Supply Chain & Purchasing. Reporting to senior leadership, you will own the end‑to‑end supply chain, drive performance, optimise costs and build supplier partnerships to support the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the supply chain strategy covering forecasting, S&OP, purchasing, production planning, inventory, logistics and fulfilment.
• Design scalable processes that balance service levels, inventory, cash flow and customer experience.
• Lead KPI management, performance reporting and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Increase ERP utilisation, improve data quality and enforce process discipline for better visibility.
• Transform procurement into a strategic function through supplier segmentation, sourcing, contract negotiations and multi‑source strategies.
• Drive digitalisation and automation projects, including AI‑driven planning tools.
• Enhance forecasting accuracy using data‑driven methodologies.
• Identify and mitigate supply‑chain risks while ensuring regulatory and quality compliance.
• Lead, coach and develop a team of five supply‑chain professionals.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of supply‑chain leadership experience in consumer‑goods, personal‑care, beauty or food & beverage environments.
• Proven track record of professionalising and scaling operations in fast‑growing companies.
