Health & Safety Manager (Construction)

About the role

As Health & Safety Manager, you will be the key point of contact for all health and safety matters relating to our data centre construction projects. You will ensure that statutory and internal HSE requirements are fully implemented, coordinate the HSE activities of all project stakeholders, and act as the on‑site HSE ambassador.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and manage high‑risk hazards throughout all project phases, working closely with design teams and contractors.
• Assess HSE implications of changes during construction and ensure appropriate mitigation.
• Conduct independent HSE audits, evaluate compliance with KPIs, HRA audits, RAMS, lifting plans, and other safety documentation.
• Analyse accidents, incidents and near‑miss reports and implement corrective and preventive measures.
• Promote safety initiatives, manage resource assessments, and report to clients and main contractors.

Required profile

• At least 10 years of experience in a senior safety role, preferably within the construction industry.
• Formal qualification in health and safety management (e.g., Occupational Safety Specialist or equivalent).
• Fluent in German and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
