Host/Hostess for Modern French Brasserie in Berlin

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and organised Host or Hostess to be the first and last impression for guests at Théodor Brasserie, a modern French brasserie in Berlin‑Charlottenburg. You will welcome visitors, manage reservations and ensure a smooth flow from arrival to departure, supporting the service team whenever needed.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and manage the reception area.
• Handle reservations, walk‑ins, waiting lists and table allocation using a reservation system.
• Coordinate with the restaurant management and service team to optimise guest flow.
• Assist on the floor with plates, trays, mise en place and guest requests during busy periods.
• Maintain a professional appearance and clear communication at all times.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a host, hostess, receptionist or in a guest‑facing restaurant role.
• Strong passion for hospitality and the rhythm of a busy dining environment.
• Calm, solution‑oriented attitude during peak service times.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the service and bar teams.

Required skills

• Experience with reservation platforms, preferably SevenRooms or a similar system.
