HR Coordinator – Germany, Austria & Switzerland

About the role

The HR Coordinator will support the HR Manager across NBCUniversal’s businesses in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Acting as the first point of contact for all HR‑related queries, the role ensures first‑class employee administration, operational and system support in a fast‑paced media environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Talent Acquisition to post new roles in SmartRecruiters, prepare job descriptions and initiate background checks.
• Process new hires in SAP/HR systems and manage all onboarding activities.
• Track and capture visa and immigration documentation for international hires.
• Process monthly payroll changes, including starters and leavers, and coordinate with the payroll team.
• Execute system data changes, workflows and paperwork for promotions, transfers and other employee life‑cycle events.
• Create and maintain HR folders, archives and employee records.
• Organise off‑boarding, conduct exit interviews and maintain leaver data.
• Maintain and update employee databases, HR email distribution lists and organisational charts.

Required profile

• Experience in HR administration, recruitment and onboarding within a multinational setting.
• Familiarity with payroll processes and employee life‑cycle management.
• Ability to handle visa and immigration documentation accurately.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
