HR Generalist – Retail (Germany & Central Europe)

About the role

As an HR Generalist for Saint Laurent, you will partner with store leaders across five countries and fourteen retail locations, ensuring a seamless employee experience from recruitment to development. Reporting to the HR Manager Central Europe, you will act as a trusted advisor on all people‑related matters.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for retail positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and talent pipeline maintenance.
• Partner with Store Directors on HR policies, employee engagement, performance management and development initiatives.
• Support talent reviews, succession planning and career development to build internal leadership pipelines.
• Coordinate onboarding and training in collaboration with the Retail Trainer.
• Assist with compensation, payroll, incentive calculations and data validation.
• Maintain accurate employee records, HR systems, organizational charts and reporting tools.
• Prepare contracts, certificates and other documentation in compliance with local labor laws.
• Contribute to employee engagement projects, new store openings and business expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, Retail or a related field.
• First professional experience in HR.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• High motivation, curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Solid emotional intelligence, initiative‑taking and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
