HR Operations Specialist

About the role

Join Huawei's Munich Research Center as an HR Operations Specialist and become part of a dynamic HR team supporting a world‑class research organization. You will ensure smooth HR operations, provide high‑quality support to employees and managers, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR Operations team in daily activities and propose ideas for process enhancements.
• Maintain employee data, HR records, and administrative processes with high accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate and support non‑employee management processes.
• Prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and uphold service quality in a fast‑paced environment.
• Take a proactive, hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and drive operational excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the HR team to ensure efficient execution of HR operations.
• Provide timely, professional assistance on HR‑related matters to employees and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Initial professional experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, or a comparable function.
• Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with intercultural awareness, especially in European and Asian contexts.
• Fluent English; German and/or Chinese are a plus.
• Basic knowledge of German labor law and immigration processes is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online collaboration tools.
