HR Specialist (m/f/d) – Munich Research Center

About the role

We are looking for an HR Specialist to join Huawei's Munich Research Center. You will support the Center of Excellence (COE) modules with professional HR policies, processes, and tools, while acting as a key liaison between the local team and headquarters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide HR policy, process, IT, and template support for budget management, recruitment, performance management, promotions, talent development, and project subsidies.
• Maintain daily communication with HQ contacts and support platform HRBP topics.
• Assist with non‑employee management and coordinate HR team operations.
• Collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure smooth HR service delivery.

Required profile

• Initial experience in a similar HR function or an academic degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business or a related field.
• Work experience in HR, preferably in a high‑end research environment.
• International experience across functions or countries, with strong intercultural awareness.
• Fluent in Chinese, English and German; basic knowledge of German labor law or visa issues is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
