Human Resources Generalist – Part‑time Manufacturing Role

About the role

ProAmpac is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join its Nussdorf manufacturing site on a part‑time basis (50‑60%). This 8‑12 month fixed‑term position offers the chance to work closely with plant leadership while gaining experience in a fast‑moving production environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, off‑boarding, and contract administration.
• Coordinate recruitment activities for manufacturing and operational roles in partnership with hiring managers.
• Serve as the primary HR contact on site, advising the Plant Manager and Operational Managers on people‑related matters.
• Support implementation of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with legislation and GDPR.
• Assist with HR events, employee communications, training inductions, and integration of new hires.
• Handle absence management, time‑and‑attendance tracking, and HR system administration.
• Address employee‑relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and investigations under senior HR guidance.
• Promote a safe working environment and support EHS‑related HR processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a generalist or operational HR role.
• Interest in working within a manufacturing or operational setting.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities with high attention to detail.
• Confident communication skills and ability to partner with managers and employees.
