Hybrid Near Patient Nurse (m/f/d) – Germany

About the role

This hybrid position is designed for experienced hospital nurses who want a better work‑life balance while still providing direct patient care. You will act as a clinical bridge between German hospitals and international medical teams, supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program.

Key responsibilities

• Manage clinical cases from admission to discharge, ensuring quality and patient safety.
• Produce accurate medical reports in English and communicate updates to both local physicians and international stakeholders.
• Provide bilingual (German/English) support to patients, helping them understand diagnoses, treatments, and the German healthcare system.
• Coordinate safe discharge plans and continuity of care across borders.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare providers, contributing to quality assessments and network collaboration.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice nursing in Germany.
• Fluent German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style, and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regionally.
