Hybrid Near Patient Nurse (m/f/d) – Nuremberg

About the role

We are seeking an experienced hospital nurse to join our hybrid Near Patient Nurse team supporting the TRICARE Overseas Program in the Nuremberg region. The role combines on‑site hospital visits with remote coordination, offering a predictable schedule without night shifts and opportunities for international collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a clinical liaison between German hospitals and international medical teams, ensuring continuity of care.
• Monitor inpatient care, maintain clinical quality, and uphold patient‑safety standards throughout the hospital stay.
• Prepare structured medical reports in English and provide clear updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate discharge planning and support patients in navigating the German healthcare system, offering bilingual assistance.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with local providers, contribute to quality assessments, and support network collaboration.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (Pflegefachkraft / Gesundheits‑ und Krankenpfleger) with at least 3 years of bedside experience in an inpatient setting.
• Active registration to practice in Germany.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Strong communication, independent work style, and confidence with digital documentation systems.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the region.
