Hybrid Writer – Berlin

About the role

This full‑time hybrid position is for a Writer based in Berlin. You will create well‑researched, impactful content that supports BISA’s mission, working both on‑site and remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Write articles, reports, and blog posts on scientific and sustainability topics.
• Develop communication materials and marketing content.
• Proofread and edit all written outputs to ensure accuracy and clarity.
• Collaborate with research and communication teams to translate complex scientific ideas for diverse audiences.

Required profile

• Strong background in professional, technical writing and editing.
• Proficiency in research, proofreading, and content development.
• Experience with communication strategy and producing marketing materials.
• Knowledge of sustainable agriculture or food security is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid model.
• Degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Agriculture or a related field.
• Fluent in English; additional South Asian languages are advantageous.
