IACS Registrar – Access Control & Customer Service

About the role

The IACS Registrar provides frontline customer service and administrative support for the U.S. Army Garrison Germersheim community. You will be the primary point of contact for installation access requests, issuing Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) cards and ensuring compliance with Army regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist community members with access‑control inquiries and issue DBIDS cards to authorized personnel.
• Process access roster lists for special events and on‑post functions.
• Coordinate with the Directorate of Emergency Services and the Provost Marshal’s Office to verify information.
• Perform data‑entry, record‑keeping, and other clerical tasks supporting IACS operations.
• Ensure all documentation follows U.S. Army regulations and is submitted accurately and on time.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen, 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of customer‑service or administrative experience.
• Familiarity with military community life (veteran, spouse, or member).
• Organized, reliable, and detail‑oriented.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency and data‑entry ability.
