Icelandic Customer Support Agent

About the role

The Happy Customers is seeking native Icelandic speakers based in Germany to join their AI‑enhanced multilingual support team. You will assist customers across email, chat and phone, ensuring a high‑quality experience for European clients.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via email, chat and phone (inbound & outbound).
• Resolve customer questions professionally and efficiently.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records in support systems.
• Follow client processes and quality standards.

Required profile

• Based in Germany with valid work authorization.
• Native or professional proficiency in Icelandic.
• Good English communication skills.
• 1–3 years of customer support or service experience (preferred).
• Comfortable communicating through phone, email and chat.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable home‑office setup.

Required skills

• Experience with CRM or customer support platforms such as Zendesk, Freshdesk or Intercom.
