Imaging Systems Support Specialist (Remote/Home Office)

About the role

Brainlab is seeking a Support Specialist for its imaging systems to provide expert technical assistance to hospitals and clinical sites. The role combines remote home‑office support with on‑site installations and maintenance across Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Perform installations, maintenance, and repairs of Brainlab systems such as Loop X and Airo at hospitals and clinical sites.
• Provide remote and on‑site technical support, guiding clinical users through troubleshooting and system operation.
• Conduct diagnostics, upgrades, and proactive service checks to ensure optimal device functionality.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor, fostering strong customer relationships and supporting product launches.
• Document all service activities accurately and collaborate with sales, engineering, and clinical support teams.

Required profile

• Degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a related field.
• First experience in technical support, preferably in the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with X‑ray systems and/or scanner technology (a plus).
• Strong IT, networking and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.
• Willingness to travel nationally up to 80 % and hold a valid driver’s licence.
