Industrial Digitalization Engineer (VIE)

About the role

Valeo Light, a leader in automotive lighting, is seeking a motivated VIE Industrial Digitalization Engineer for a 12‑month assignment at its Bietigheim‑Bissingen plant in Germany. You will support the plant’s digital transformation, helping to improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the plant’s industrial digitalization strategy.
• Design, deploy, and configure digital solutions on new and existing production equipment.
• Train and support local users, coordinating learning programs for digital tools.
• Lead and coordinate industrial digitalization projects, acting as the main liaison between internal teams and external suppliers.
• Conduct technology watch and promote best practices across the industrial network.
• Bridge the gap between advanced technologies and day‑to‑day operations, ensuring smooth integration and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering).
• Experience in digitalization or artificial intelligence projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities, international mindset, and openness to new cultures.
