Instrumentation and Control Supervisor – 10/4 Rotation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation and Control (I&C) Supervisor to lead the installation, integration and hand‑over of complex digital and analog control systems on a major international project in Germany. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will drive the I&C erection strategy and ensure seamless transition to commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of the I&C installation plan, creating detailed sub‑schedules aligned with the master project schedule.
• Manage specialised I&C subcontractors, enforcing quality standards and the Site Quality Assurance Programme.
• Investigate deviations, non‑conformances and extra works, coordinating with site management to control costs and resolve claims.
• Provide data to the Construction Monitoring System and maintain a comprehensive site logbook.
• Coordinate technical documentation with engineering and manage cross‑discipline interfaces.
• Enforce the site‑specific EHS plan, conduct toolbox talks and risk assessments, and suspend unsafe work.
• Drive punch‑list clearance, review test packs and support system walk‑downs and turnover.
• Prepare turnover packages to ensure I&C systems are fully documented, tested and ready for commissioning.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems or a related trade discipline.
• Proven experience managing I&C subcontractors and site personnel.
• Strong understanding of plant operations, I&C systems and construction execution.
• Ability to assess performance, conduct appraisals and enforce safety and quality standards.
