Intercompany Accountant – Hybrid (Munich)

About the role

We are seeking an Intercompany Accountant to join our Financial Shared Services Center in Putzbrunn, Munich. The role operates within a global network spanning Germany, South Korea, Hong Kong and the United States, supporting intercompany transactions and general accounting for the Gore group.

Key responsibilities

• Process global intercompany receivables and payables, including commissions, royalties and shared‑service invoicing.
• Prepare and post intercompany journal entries and generate payment runs.
• Execute month‑end accruals, deferrals and a high volume of journal entries.
• Reconcile intercompany balances across all entities.
• Support month, quarter and year‑end close activities and external audit procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to standardise and improve intercompany processes.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., Industriekaufmann/-frau, Bürokaufmann/-frau, Fachkraft Rechnungswesen IHK).
• At least 3 years of experience in intercompany accounting, AP/AR or general accounting, preferably in an international environment.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Proactive, team‑oriented and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office applications, especially advanced Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards and/or SAP.
