Interim Country Manager – Germany (Engineering Services)

About the role

We are seeking an Interim Country Manager for our German subsidiary, an engineering services provider to defence, aerospace, rail and other high‑tech industries. Reporting to the International Director, you will lead a team of about 10 employees and be fully responsible for commercial performance and operational excellence during a 6‑12 month assignment, with the possibility of a permanent role.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the German subsidiary with full P&L responsibility.
• Develop and execute a commercial strategy for the German market.
• Identify and secure new business in defence, aerospace, rail and related sectors.
• Expand existing customer relationships and build a sustainable sales pipeline.
• Review and reshape the organisation to support future growth.
• Collaborate with the international leadership team to align local execution with group strategy.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a business unit, subsidiary or SME with full P&L responsibility.
• Strong business‑development background in Germany’s defence, aerospace or high‑tech industrial sectors.
• Established network among major industrial customers and key decision‑makers.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Fluent German and professional English; French is a plus.
