Intern Application Development in Flight Physics

About the role

Airbus Operations is offering a 6‑month internship in Hamburg Finkenwerder to support the Methods & Tools for the Loads & Aeroelastics Department. You will work on the development of a new application for analysing landing incidents, collaborating closely with senior capabilities engineers and L&A experts.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in creating a next‑generation application for analysing recorded flight data and simulating landing incidents.
• Develop and maintain frontend, backend, data‑management and API components of the application.
• Participate in requirements management, research and testing activities.
• Collaborate with L&A engineering experts to ensure the tool meets aerospace engineering needs.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
