Internal Auditor – FinTech (German & English)

About the role

Scalable Capital is seeking an Internal Auditor to support its fast‑growing FinTech operations across Europe. You will work closely with multiple business units to evaluate controls, identify risks, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform internal audits in areas such as securities, risk management, product, finance, and operations.
• Draft audit reports, present findings to stakeholders, and track remediation actions.
• Continuously improve internal audit methodologies and processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, Finance, Client Service, Capital Markets, and Operations teams.
• Develop a deep understanding of core FinTech processes and emerging regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Methodical, independent, and hands‑on work style.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex subjects.
• Academic degree in Law, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in financial services, investment firms, banks or audit firms.
• Strong sense of accountability for confidential information.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, especially in potentially confrontational situations.
• Commitment to staying updated on regulatory and industry trends.
• Fluent in English and German.
