Internal Auditor (m/f/d) – Global Audits

About the role

As an Internal Auditor at Vaillant Group, you will help ensure transparent, efficient processes across the organization and support the transition to a data‑driven business. You will work in a cross‑functional team, conducting audits worldwide and providing actionable insights to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute internal audits across all business areas, with up to 25% travel.
• Analyse existing structures, identify gaps, and propose concrete improvement measures.
• Prepare audit reports tailored to different audiences and present findings to management and executive leadership.
• Participate in departmental projects such as data analytics, artificial intelligence, and ESG initiatives.
• Conduct special investigations, including fraud‑related topics.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Auditing, Mechanical Engineering, IT or a comparable field.
• Several years of experience in internal or external auditing (career changers are welcome).
• High integrity, strong analytical thinking and the ability to drive projects independently.
• International mindset, intercultural competence and willingness to travel.
• Fluent German and English communication skills; Chinese is a plus.

Required skills

• Solid IT knowledge.
• Experience with data analytics.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence concepts.
• Proficiency in SAP.
