Internal Communications Manager – International Consumer Banking (VP)

About the role

Join the International Consumer Banking (ICB) team in Berlin as an Internal Communications Manager at the Vice President level. You will shape the voice and culture of the organization for the German market, driving engagement and collaboration across Chase in Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Craft compelling intranet articles, announcements, town‑hall materials, blogs and video scripts that reflect the company’s vision and values.
• Partner with senior leaders to develop authentic messaging, presentations and communications for German employees.
• Manage internal communication platforms, events and town‑hall sessions to ensure consistent, impactful messaging.
• Design and execute strategic internal communication campaigns in collaboration with marketing and sponsorship teams.
• Integrate broader corporate strategy into ICB communications and coordinate unified messaging across geographies.
• Handle internal communications responses to reputational issues together with PR and social‑media teams.
• Collaborate with in‑house and agency partners to produce innovative creative assets for internal use.

Required profile

• Significant experience in Marketing & Communications, preferably within Corporate Communications.
• Proven trusted‑advisor capability guiding senior executives on internal communications strategy.
• Deep knowledge of employee‑engagement best practices and communications expertise.
• Ability to think strategically while executing detailed plans and measuring impact.
• Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with strong editing acumen.
• Consultative approach to influence and collaborate across all organizational levels.
• Commitment to risk and compliance standards.
