Internal Service Technician

About the role

As an Internal Service Technician you will support the service and operations teams by performing technical inspections, repairs, and inventory tasks. The role combines hands‑on equipment refurbishment with basic warehouse duties to ensure smooth inbound and outbound processes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform technical repairs, inspections, refurbishments and maintenance of demonstration equipment.
• Upgrade software and hardware on refurbished products according to specifications.
• Conduct quality inspections and re‑work of new products that fail testing, escalating issues to the Quality Group.
• Maintain repair bays and ensure a safe, orderly warehouse environment.
• Receive, inspect and record inbound goods, accurately tracking inventory consumption.
• Communicate progress to customers and escalate unresolved issues.
• Assist the Operations team with picking, packing, shipping and cycle‑count activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience troubleshooting AV equipment at the board level using software, error logs and service manuals.
• Experience installing multimedia equipment.
• Strong organisational skills and a results‑oriented approach.
• Working knowledge of PC hardware setup and repair.
• Understanding of Christie Digital products and related equipment.
• Willingness to work onsite on a permanent basis.
