International Service Director

About the role

The International Service Director leads the global service strategy for medical imaging markets, ensuring world‑class after‑sales support across regions. Reporting to senior leadership, this role drives uptime, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction and revenue growth through service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a worldwide service delivery strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
• Lead regional service managers and country teams, defining KPIs and SLAs to achieve operational excellence.
• Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors and service partners, acting as escalation point for critical issues.
• Oversee installation, maintenance, repair, spare‑parts logistics and remote diagnostics across all markets.
• Identify new revenue streams from service contracts, extended warranties and upgrades, collaborating with sales.
• Use service data (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, ServiceMax) to monitor performance, produce executive reports and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with medical device regulations (FDA, MDR, ISO 13485) and lead global CAPA processes.
• Recruit, mentor and develop a high‑performing, diverse service leadership team worldwide.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience leading technical services and service sales in medical imaging or related healthcare sectors.
• Proven ability to manage indirect service models through channel partners.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 40–60% of the time.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Preferred location within the EMEA region.
