International Tax Manager - Berlin

About the role

We are seeking an experienced International Tax Manager to join a global organisation in Berlin. The role focuses on supporting complex cross‑border operations, providing expert tax guidance, and ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and regional tax leads to deliver ongoing tax advisory support.
• Interpret tax regulations, assess their impact on commercial activities, and communicate implications to finance and non‑finance audiences.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve tax‑related processes to manage compliance obligations and mitigate risk.
• Monitor and evaluate changes in tax legislation across relevant countries, ensuring timely awareness and action.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business teams, aligning operational activities with the organisation’s European legal and structural framework.

Required profile

• Demonstrated German tax experience and a recognised German tax qualification.
• Extensive experience in international corporate taxation, either in‑house or at an accountancy firm.
• Ability to work on‑site in the Berlin office 4‑5 days a week.
• No visa sponsorship available.
