IT Security Engineer – DevOps & Cybersecurity

About the role

As an IT Security Engineer you will protect our payment platform and support DevOps practices by applying the latest cybersecurity standards. You will work closely with development and operations teams to keep our infrastructure resilient and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and secure the infrastructure supporting DevOps pipelines.
• Perform regular security assessments, penetration tests and audits.
• Monitor networks and systems for suspicious activity and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including breaches and malware.
• Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, IDS/IPS and related tools.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in Java/Spring applications.
• Collaborate with developers to enforce secure configurations and deployments.
• Support compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 and DORA.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as an IT Security Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of security tools such as penetration testing frameworks, SIEM, IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Hands‑on incident‑response and security analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Linux server environments and scripting/automation.
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset.
