IT Service and Support Specialist (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Service and Support Specialist to join our team of 110 professionals who manage, rent, and market properties for a large cooperative housing organization in Lower Saxony. You will be the first point of contact for employees needing technical assistance and will help ensure a stable, secure, and high‑performance IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑ and second‑level support, handling IT tickets and user inquiries.
• Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, and related hardware/software in Windows and iOS environments.
• Assist employees with technical issues and deliver training on new or updated systems.
• Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions in central IT systems.
• Oversee procurement, inventory, and warehousing of IT hardware and software.
• Conduct cost‑benefit analyses for IT purchases and system changes.
• Coordinate external IT service providers and partners.
• Support network, server, and telecommunications infrastructure.
• Participate in IT projects, including planning, implementation, documentation, and rollout of new applications.
• Maintain IT documentation and knowledge bases, and assist with budget monitoring.

Required profile

• Completed training in IT (e.g., system integration specialist, IT electronics technician) or a degree in computer science, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience in IT support, help‑desk, or systems administration.
• Strong service orientation and a passion for helping users.
• Structured, independent, and solution‑oriented work style.
• High reliability, willingness to learn, and sense of responsibility.
