IT Support Engineer – On‑site Technical Support

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide on‑site technical assistance across our client’s locations in Germany. The role involves maintaining desktop environments, audio‑visual equipment, and network infrastructure to ensure smooth daily operations and meeting execution.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers and peripherals.
• Install, configure and maintain desktop operating systems and applications.
• Set up and test audio‑visual equipment, network connections and meeting software (Zoom, Teams, etc.).
• Provide real‑time technical assistance during meetings, handling login, audio‑visual and connectivity issues.
• Maintain server rooms, meeting rooms, and overall IT infrastructure.
• Inspect and manage servers, network devices, storage systems and monitor performance.
• Support core network components such as firewalls, switches, routers, VPNs and wireless access points.
• Monitor IT platform and network quality, perform troubleshooting and optimisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant IT support experience; Huawei project experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field preferred.
• Strong commitment, initiative and ability to work independently.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Desktop OS installation and configuration.
• Audio‑visual equipment setup and testing.
• Meeting software (Zoom, Microsoft Teams) deployment.
• Server and storage system maintenance.
• Network device management (firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, wireless APs).
