IT Support Specialist – Berlin (Full/Part Time)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join Meteomatics’ infrastructure team in Berlin. The position can be full‑time or part‑time and runs for one year (08/2026‑08/2027). You will provide first‑line technical assistance to office staff, maintain hardware and software, and help keep our IT environment reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑line support for hardware, software, network and user issues in the Berlin office.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices and peripherals.
• Onboard new employees by preparing equipment, installing applications and creating user accounts.
• Troubleshoot Windows, macOS and Linux systems.
• Monitor and manage the IT ticketing system to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with network monitoring and help resolve connectivity problems.
• Support the upkeep of IT assets, documentation and knowledge‑base articles.
• Collaborate with the broader infrastructure team to improve processes and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (current students accepted).
• Experience in IT support, system administration or similar roles, including internships or student work.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems.
