Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper (German & English) – up to €45k, Düsseldorf

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our finance team in Düsseldorf. The role supports the Senior Management Accountant across multiple subsidiaries and will help transition to internal bookkeeping using the Odoo platform.

Key responsibilities

• Process and post invoices, validating them against purchase orders.
• Handle supplier payments and communications.
• Manage the purchasing inbox, bank accounts, and perform reconciliations.
• Assist with monthly accounting processes for several subsidiaries.
• Maintain accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and payroll.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Odoo to improve financial workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including finance, operations, and regulators.

Required profile

• Minimum German language level B2.
• Fluent in English.
• Based in Düsseldorf or willing to relocate.
• Available to start promptly.
• Junior‑level experience or strong academic background in accounting.

Required skills

• Odoo accounting platform.
