Junior Assistant Site Manager

About the role

Ghibli is seeking a Junior Assistant Site Manager to support a high‑end retail fit‑out project in Hamburg from July to December 2026. This practical, project‑based position is ideal for a student or recent graduate with an interest in construction, architecture, or interior fit‑out who can provide German‑English language support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Site Manager and Project Manager during site visits, meetings and coordination activities.
• Provide German‑English translation and communication support with subcontractors, suppliers, landlords and local stakeholders.
• Help track site progress, take notes, prepare meeting minutes, photo documentation and action lists.
• Distribute drawings, documents, updates and instructions as required.
• Identify and report basic issues for review by senior managers.

Required profile

• Fluent in written and spoken German and English.
• Current studies or basic knowledge in architecture, engineering, construction, interior design or related fields.
• Available to attend site in Hamburg on a weekly basis and for specific meetings.
• Organised, reliable and able to follow up on simple tasks.
