Junior Communications & Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for an organised communications professional to join our team in Berlin and help amplify LAS Art Foundation’s projects and ideas to wider audiences. The role focuses on external relations, supporting media outreach, marketing activities and the communication of our interdisciplinary programme across Germany and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate press enquiries, mailings, media outreach and accreditation.
• Draft and edit press releases, fact sheets, press kits and other media materials.
• Manage communication timelines, publication schedules and press event delivery.
• Maintain and develop the CRM database, including journalist research and contact management.
• Monitor, evaluate and archive media coverage, producing regular press reports.
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for various projects.
• Support the production and coordination of photo, video and creative content assets.

Required profile

• Excellent German (minimum C1) and English (minimum B2) language skills.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in communications, marketing or digital media.
• Experience in the arts, cultural or creative sector is a plus.
• Structured, hands‑on, reliable approach with strong ownership of tasks.
• Creative mindset combined with strong organisational abilities.
• Team‑oriented attitude and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
