(Junior) Credit Analyst (m/f/d) – Berlin

About the role

As a Credit Analyst you will own core parts of our underwriting and portfolio processes for both B2B and B2C customers. You will work independently on day‑to‑day credit decisions while helping to shape and improve our risk framework as the business scales rapidly.

Key responsibilities

• Perform credit underwriting for end‑customers (B2C) and partner companies (B2B).
• Review financial documents, application data and risk indicators against defined underwriting rules.
• Make credit decisions within clearly defined approval limits.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk policies and underwriting guidelines.
• Identify and escalate anomalies, risk signals or potential fraud cases.
• Support continuous improvement of underwriting and operational processes.
• Maintain and improve data quality in risk‑relevant systems.
• Collaborate closely with the Risk team to ensure stable daily operations.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in credit risk, underwriting or lending operations.
• Strong experience in B2B underwriting (B2C experience is a plus).
• Analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Reliable, structured and disciplined working style.
• Fluent English (C1 minimum); German is a plus.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
