Junior Data Analyst (Remote Internship)

About the role

Hawkroot is looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst to join its fully remote analytics team on a part‑time internship basis. This 3‑month position is ideal for final‑year students or recent graduates who want to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world data projects and build a solid professional portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for ongoing analytical initiatives.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights.
• Write and execute SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from multiple sources.
• Support the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports using Power BI or Tableau.
• Conduct basic statistical analysis and summarise findings clearly.
• Assist in building data models and structured reporting outputs.
• Document data processes and keep accurate records of analytical work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or recent graduate in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
• Strong analytical thinking with high attention to detail.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Based in Germany or authorized to work there.
