Junior English Copywriter – Part‑time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

We are looking for a Junior English Copywriter to join our Berlin office on a part‑time basis (24 hours per week). You will help shape the voice of Carhartt WIP across multiple channels, creating compelling copy that resonates with our fashion‑forward audience.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging, original copy that aligns with our tone of voice, brand identity, and editorial strategy.
• Develop campaign and editorial storytelling that brings concepts to life.
• Write and edit weekly newsletters.
• Produce seasonal product descriptions with clear technical details.
• Support updates to onsite copy, including homepage, SEO and category pages, and journal posts.
• Craft social‑media captions tailored to each platform for global and local accounts.
• Proofread and fact‑check copy to ensure accuracy and consistency before publication.
• Research products, market trends, and cultural touchpoints to inform writing.
• Collaborate with French and German copywriters to maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Participate in planning and feedback meetings with e‑commerce, creative, and marketing teams.

Required profile

• A degree in English language, literature, journalism or a comparable qualification.
• Relevant professional experience as a copywriter, including internships.
• Strong interest in fashion, editorial and contemporary culture, with an understanding of the Carhartt WIP consumer.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative, proactive attitude and openness to feedback.
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent grammar, spelling and punctuation.
