Junior IT Service Desk Administrator

About the role

Horizonia is seeking a Junior IT Service Desk Administrator to join its on‑site team in Hallbergmoos. You will be the first point of contact for users, handling incidents and service requests in a security‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support for Windows clients and Microsoft Office applications.
• Register, qualify, document and monitor tickets in the ITSM tool while respecting SLA targets.
• Perform initial analysis and resolve issues directly or escalate to higher‑level teams.
• Maintain and improve CMDB data quality and create knowledge‑base articles.
• Assist with hardware issuance, equipment exchanges, returns and asset documentation.

Required profile

• Completed IT vocational training or comparable technical qualification (e.g., Fachinformatiker).
• Entry‑level experience in IT support, service desk or help‑desk environments.
• Fluent English and native‑level German (C2).
• 100 % on‑site availability in Hallbergmoos; no remote option.
• Willingness to undergo standard security clearance.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of Windows client operating systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with Active Directory.
• Basic networking concepts.
• Experience with ITSM/ticketing tools and CMDB concepts.
• Understanding of ITIL processes (foundation level or willingness to obtain).
