Junior Legal Counsel – Contract & Insurance Law

About the role

As a Junior Legal Counsel at Siegwerk, you will support the legal team in contract, commercial and insurance matters across domestic and international operations. Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, you will help ensure legal compliance while contributing to the company’s sustainable packaging mission.

Key responsibilities

• Advise business units and subsidiaries on contractual and legal issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate national and international contracts.
• Conduct legal training sessions for employees, both in‑person and via e‑learning.
• Manage the Group’s insurance portfolio, support insurance tenders, and handle claims.

Required profile

• University degree as a fully qualified lawyer or business lawyer.
• Initial experience in an international company or law firm is a plus.
• Strong teamwork orientation and ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders worldwide.
• Excellent communication skills in English and German.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common MS Office applications.
